PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ADVANCED DOGS AND PAIRED DOGS WILL BE STARTING AT 6:00 p.m. AND BEGINNER DOGS WILL BE STARTING AT 7:30 p.m. DUE TO THIS BEING A LATE EVENING PRACTICE WE WILL BE LIMITING THE NUMBER OF DOGS ATTENDING. R.S.V.P. REQUIRED. A special treat for August is going on a field trip. We will be meeting at Bush Park in Fenton by the pavilion. Beware there are two parking lots this one is located behind St. Johns Church. The other parking area is off N. Leroy, you don't want to park there. Also there is not always an open bathroom (I never know when they will be locked or not). Please bring water for your dog. You may crate out of your car. We will be focusing on K9 Nosework for all skill levels, ages, and breeds of dogs!!! Teach your dog to use his or her nose to find the prize! This course will run once a week for 8 weeks starting on September 7th. This course focuses on the many life-stages of the puppy and adolescent dog. Learn a solid foundation for basic obedience cues. Basic curriculum of: sit, down, pay-attention cue, hand target, coming when called, walking nicely on a leash, leave it, and wait. And also learn problem solving behavior and aid in prevention such as; jumping, sit for greetings, barking, and digging. 8 week session, vaccines required.

Puppy Pawz Elementary Level 2

Designed just for puppies and adolescent dogs!! For the dogs that have completed Level 1 or have presented a demonstration of skills.  Build advanced criteria on the basic cues learned in Level 1 and also learn new skills.  New curriculum of: stay, stand, heel, going to mat, shaping tricks, and enjoying playing games with our canines. 6 week session, vaccines required.

Just Tricks
This is an advanced course designed for those dogs that have completed Level 2 and are looking for more fun!! You will be learning a series of new trick behaviors in order to get your Novice Trick Dog Title with Do More with Your Dog or AKC. If your dog already knows lots of tricks that's ok! We can teach them even more and have even more fun!! At the end of the 6 week session, you will have the opportunity to submit your paperwork for your Novice Trick Dog Title from Do More with Your Dog and receive another certificate and a ribbon. And submit your paperwork with AKC for a trick title if you are interested in that as well.

This class will be combining Rally-O and Rally FrEe into a 6 week course. 3 weeks will be spent working Rally Obedience and 3 weeks doing Rally FrEe. The first week we will start with Novice Rally-O courses and then alternate from there. Do you enjoy music and teaching your dog tricks and novel behaviors? Do you strive for precision in obedience skills? Do you want to strengthen the working relationship between you and your dog? Are you looking for an enjoyable and supportive competitor experience? Then Rally FrEe might be the sport for you!! This skills class is an introduction to the sport and gives you the foundation and teaches you all the Novice signs. Rally-FrEe is a unique sport combining trick behaviors of Canine Musical Freestyle with the format of Rally-Obedience. It emphasizes the precise execution of fundamental freestyle and obedience skills while encouraging creative and novel behaviors on a Rally-Obedience style course. Our 1st annual Paws-a-Palooza to raise community awareness on ways to improve and enrich your relationship with your dog, hosted by Positive Pawz, Paws N Stone, and Paw Palace. This year we will be raising money for the Fenton Township Dog Park. This is a family friendly community event. Leashed Friendly Dogs are encouraged and welcome. There will be prizes for various contests and games to compete with your dog. We will be doing nosework, aglity, and rally demonstrations. Your dog will get to try it's paws at each of those activities for donations to the fundraiser. Animal Health Clinic will be there with a doggie kissing booth! This is an advanced course designed for those dogs that have completed Level 2 and are looking for more fun!! You will be learning a series of new trick behaviors in order to get your Novice Trick Dog Title with Do More with Your Dog. We will also be working on our skills to become Canine Good Citizens. The test will be included in this 6 week course. At the end of the 6 week session, you will have the opportunity to submit your paperwork for your Novice Trick Dog Title from Do More with Your Dog and receive another certificate and a ribbon. And submit your paperwork with AKC for your CGC certificate.

Home Depot has generously provided their store for an indoor walk during the cold, winter season. Doggie treats will be provided to the first 40 dogs, along with exercise and fun for all.
